Facebook, GBuzz, Twitter, Yahoo Pulse - The good and bad.

Hello all..

Note, these are my personal opinions. 
And some of the issues good and bad are missing from this list. (for my personel reasons). I do not use most of these that much. So, with that note, we will start with Yahoo Pulse as it is the least known about. 

Yahoo Pulse

1. Finding your Yahoo Pulse account is not easy. You have to click 3 or 4 links to find it if you are on Yahoo's main page. 

2. Privacy Settings are very basic.

3. You can post to everyone, which can be good and bad.

4. Just type and post.

5. Layout is ok, but needs serious improvement.

6. Yahoo Pulse is very much like the rest of Yahoo, hard to get to where you want to go. Very confusing.

7. Very basic site.

8. Guest Book ? I have no idea what this is, unless it is basic messages to certain friends.

Twitter

1. Easy to use.

2. But basic "tweets" only 140 characters. Not a lot of space to add something of importance.

3. Good for famous people that want to publicly display things they are doing.

4. Like that you can change your background or customize it.

5. Finding people, is horrible, no location based on finding friends. Half the people don't have real names. Suggestions is just companies that you might want to follow.

6. They need a place where you can upload photos.

7. Find it interesting that you can change your user name anytime you want. I don't think this is good.

8. It does not have as many things to do as other social networking sites.

9. You can't separate "tweets" between groups of people.

GBuzz

1. Having iGoogle as my main log in page is a pain in the butt, because it have to click on Gmail to get to my GBuzz page or my Doc page.

2. Don't like that when I am on GBuzz that I have to click on email messages and wait for it to load and vice versa. 

3. I still don't know how to unmute a post. They don't make this easy.

4. It is good for following people similar to Twitter, but a better format then Twitter.

5. Kind of like that there is no advertising on GBuzz, but it might add something more to the pages.

6. Wish it was easy to understand. Google is missing out, because it is not easy to use.

7. Like that you can use Google Reader and Picasso on it.

8. Very hard to navigate and find where you want to go on Gbuzz. 

9. Once you leave Gbuzz it is hard to get back to Buzz.

10. Collapsing buzzes is still not easy to do.

11. Comment, Like, Email and re-share are easy to find and use.

12. Once you go into your profile settings, how do you get back to Gbuzz?

13. Like the post options.

Facebook

1. It was easy to navigate and find stuff on Facebook, but they changed it so it is not easy anymore.

2. Privacy.. we all know about Fb privacy issues. I had to redo my privacy setting 5 times so far.

3. l cant delete some apps. I just was able too, they added new settings. FINALLY.

4. Not happy that they never told us about changes they were making and just made them.

5. App and Advertiser driven, not the actual people that are using them.

6. Tired of having to block Game or other Applications from my news feed.

7. Hate that now all my friends can see my other friends. Had a friend stealer.

8. Blocking posts options are very limited.

9. Advertising is mostly scam and application advertising.

10. Instant personalization is just wrong.

11. Half the stuff on Fb you cant find when you are looking for it.

12. Not a fan of the Ceo or the Ceo of Zynga adding any advertisements to generate revenue. 

 Key Objectives of:              7sLOCAL
1.We plan on giving you back your privacy and help you keep it private.
2.Give back to you the user, yes we are going to give you stuff. : ) 

3. We plan on helping your local schools, businesses and the communites where you live.
4. Give you resources to be more productive and help you with your all ready amazing life. 

5. Exciting new ways to meet people locally and globally. 

6. Help create local jobs.

7. Give you resources to help you become more financially stable.
8. Plus much much more to come. 

So these are a few of my likes and dislikes of the "big" name social networking sites. And what I plan on doing differently.
